When Rebecca was 11 years old, her big sister allowed her to do her makeup for her prom. The fact that she didn't run to the bathroom to wash it all off sent a signal within the young Ms. Perkins. She had skills. For nearly 20 years, those skills have been highlighted in various platforms (film, television, red carpet) and on all types of women including Mariska Hargitay, Amanda Peet, Elliot Page, Gloria Steinem, Julianna Margulies...even President Elect Joe Biden! Best of all, on SHESPOKE partner and co-founder Stephanie March. Rebecca, has also worked on 30 Rock, Smash, Elementary and NBC's upcoming Law & Order: Organized Crime, lives just north of Manhattan with her husband and two boys and pup, with whom she shares her three passions - traveling (someday), cooking and ultimate Frisbee - as often as she is able. She is thrilled to be bringing SHESPOKE to the world.
Who We Are
At SHESPOKE, we want you to do the talking!
SHESPOKE represents the freedom, playfulness and joy that comes from using makeup as a tool of self-expression.
We are about community. It's a space where you can make a lipstick, share an experience and be heard.
Our story started on the set of “Law and Order: SVU” with co-founders, Stephanie March and Rebecca Perkins. Rebecca was head of the makeup department and Stephanie played ADA Alexandra Cabot. Years of 14-hour days together on set led them to plot the future of makeup. How could they recreate their relationship as makeup artist and performer and share that with a larger audience? Thus, SHESPOKE was born! The duo became a trio when Kelsey Groome joined the team as CEO and partner in 2020- a perfect blend of art and science.
It is with great pride and joy they announce their first fully digital venture together: The SheSpeaker.
"I firmly believe that the right red lipstick can dramatically up your confidence in five seconds, flat."

“I have always known two things about myself- that I wanted to be an actress and that I love makeup. There is no better way to get into character, onstage and off.”

“SHESPOKE is the great trifecta for me – the people (I’m doing what I love with people I love working with), the product (it’s the best I’ve ever worn), and the fun (the SheSpeaker is playful, entertaining and, well, fun). PS my favorite shade is Ruth (my mom’s creation).“
